Hello. My name is Warren, and I am raising funds for our dear friends, Akiko, Jonny and their 3 year old daughter, Kotoha - who lost their home to the Oak Fire in Mariposa, CA. By the time they learned the fire was moving rapidly in their direction, they had only 10 minutes to gather themselves and a few documents before they were forced to evacuate. Soon after, they learned that the quickly expanding fire had destroyed their home. Obviously, we are beyond grateful that they are safe, but will need help rebuilding their lives.

Jonny is a contractor, often working on rebuilding historic structures in Yosemite National Park. Akiko is a talented textile designer/craftman, and part-time yoga instructor. They are both devoted, loving, and thoughtful parents. Their daughter Kotoha is full of wonder, generosity and enthusiasm for life and people - but we can see how confusing and traumatic this experience has been for her.
