Hi, my name is Yvonne Mandeville, the sister of Jon McLarty.

My brother is a 49-year-old husband, father to four and soon-to-be grandfather. We are raising funds to help pay the astronomical expenses that will incur from treating his colon metastasized cancer, the cost of being out of work and the travel expenses.

Anyone who knows my brother would agree that he is an incredible man. Many have been recipients of his selfless service, love and friendship over the years. He is a person that would drop whatever he is doing to help anyone. His passion for his faith, family and friends is evident in his life.

If we all work together to contribute, it will make the load lighter and bless this very deserving family. No contribution is too small.

If the contribution exceeds the costs, the excess will be used to further cancer research.

Our great-grandfather said every morning, "This is the day the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it". We are choosing to rejoice each and every day as we walk this new road of cancer.
