With his death on April 12, 2016, Dr. Charles Jonkel leaves behind a lifetime of research, personal papers and artifacts that must be preserved for the sake of future researchers and historians and for posterity itself.  The family would like to raise funds to ensure that Chuck's work becomes part of a university archive.  Any funds you care to contribute will go towards a cause that benefits wildlife, the conservation movement, evidence-based policy, the history of Missoula, MT, and the history of international and Montanan bear research.
