Hi everyone!

It’s hard to find the words and the vulnerability to write this and ask for help. Really what is guiding me forward is the force of love I have for my best friend, my sidekick, my life partner. My ego aside and with acknowledgment for the trying times we are all in, and the current state of our world- I must do everything in my power to make sure my crazy Joni is in good health.

As many of you know Joni is my dog of 7 years, she is family, my daughter, my sister, my best friend all in one. I wouldn’t know life without her. Recently on one of our adventures in the mountains she took a hard tumble and is in need of TPLO surgery. To be specific, she completely tore the CCL ligament in her knee and is struggling to be mobile. With her young in her earth life I have no choice but to do everything I can to make sure I can provide her with the proper health treatments and recovery.

I know I’m not the only one in the struggle boat of life right now, especially financially, but working full time and side hustling isn’t enough for me to cover the expenses of the surgery she needs in a timely manner. Leaving it unaddressed will only cause her more pain and loss of good and goofy days (which we are all so much in need of). After talking to multiple vets it’s overwhelming that this is something that requires attention due to her size and energy level.

I’m asking anyone who has a couple extra bucks, (a 20 if you got it like that) to donate to the fund of Joni’s surgery so that my sweet, crazy girl can keep living without future compacted health problems. We all need that something in life to keep us going and if you know me (or don’t) you know I need her. I’ve attached the estimate from vet below.
