Hello! Recently, our mother, Joni Smart, was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer. Although we see a very positive prognosis and outcome, the medical expenses to reach this goal are overwhelming. She is soon due for a surgery to remove the cancer, then will recieve radiation, and lastly, chemo. Joni is a single mother of two children, and also the sole caretaker to her mother who is dealing with medical issues of her own. As if this wasn't enough, we are also living in a very strange time that presents even more financial hardships. Joni is still considered an essential worker, yet has had her clients nearly cut in half due to the virus. Joni's passion is working as an Occupational Therapy Assistant for children with  disabilities. There is also the possibility she may have to take a great deal of time off for her cancer treatment. The treatment and flooding of bills has already begun, so any help quickly is appreciated. This assistance will help keep a beloved mother on her feet during a terrible time, and give her the confidence and ease knowing she will make it out of this. Please keep the prayers coming.
