Hey everyone, we are here to ask for donations toward the life saving care our dog Jones has received this week (26th Jan)

Earlier this week, Jones suddenly became very ill and after trips to the emergency vet and many scans later we were struck with the devastating news that he had a large tumour inside his small intestines resulting in him needing immediate life saving surgery.

Luckily, the tumour was removed and we're looking forwards toward a couple of months of strict recovery, many cuddles and good food.

However we're not out the woods. We're yet to hear if the tumour was cancerous and has spread but for now we're just so grateful to know he's made it through and we have our boy back for us to care for.

Jones is our rescue dog from Lanzarote who's overcome so many obstacles in his life. We've had him 10 years and he has grown alongside us. Being right by our side through every trial and tribulation we experienced through our 20s and now hopefully more years to come. He is our world and our best friend and we will always do everything we can to make sure he's happy and healthy and gets to know what real love from humans is after having a pretty rough start to life.

This week has destroyed us. It's been touch and go at times and all we've wanted is our boy back home safe and thanks to the incredible care he's had, this is possible.

We know how horrible the state of the world is right now. Times are tough and we're all struggling be it financially or emotionally, so we just ask for any financial support we can get. To our friends and family who know him far and wide - who know how special he is, we ask for any donation to help us cover part of this vet bill.

Your donations will go towards helping us cover the care he's had which includes:
3 nights of hospitalisation including IV drips with constant monitoring
3 ultrasound scans
X-rays
Pain relief
Anaesthesia
Critical surgery of his small intestines removing the mass
Necessary aftercare e.g medication.

So far this has come to £8,500 which our insurance sadly cannot cover.

We appreciate any and all help we receive more than we can say.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts,
Caitlin, Harrison and Jones
