Jones Family Road to Recovery

Hello!

My name is Rachel Adams and I am trying to help raise money for my sister's sweet family of 4 (soon to be 5!).

In 2022, my sister's daughter, Lenny started showing behavioral changes. She not only was acting differently but, had a few physical symptoms as well. Doctor visit after doctor visit, needle after needle, test after test, they were still missing so many answers. Lenny's body was inflamed, but from what? They began looking into autoimmunity, PANS/PANDAS, food sensitivities, genetics, gut imbalances, etc. The list goes on. There are still no absolutes, but a few questions are now being answered.

Fast forward to now. They decided to run a mold (mycotoxin) test on Lenny. The doctor revealed that Lenny tested very high for 3 different mycotoxins. This led to more questions: where is the mold coming from? Where is she being exposed? After testing their house, the same mycotoxins were found. Their house is infested with water damage and toxic black mold. After the doctor's orders, they left their house and are now living with friends and family (pregnant and with 2 kids).

They didn't know where the mold was in the house or the extent of the damage, but after more tests, they are discovering just how bad it is. The mold spores are everywhere, they are circulating in their house from the A/C units, and landing on EVERYTHING. Beds, couches, cribs, dressers, rugs, etc. Everything is moving to the trash. If they want to live safely and heal their family (especially Lenny), nothing they own can be kept. Insurance has denied them and will not help with any of the damages.

We are relying on the Lord during this time of unknowns, but the Lord also surrounds us with people and commands us to work together to lift each other.

"Two are better than one.. if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow" Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
