Our family is grieving the tragic loss of Jonelle Littleton, who took her own life on July 26, 2019. A woman with many titles... daughter, mother, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, friend.

Jonelle was born on November 30, 1983 and grew up in Lytle, Texas. In 2006 she received a Bachelor’s of Science in Biochemistry from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi and moved to Maui 10 days later.

She was a loving mother to her precious little girl, Ruby Rain. Jonelle and Ruby were two peas in a pod and shared numerous adventures. They traveled all across the United States. From living in Hawaii, adventuring to Alaska, and of course back to Texas and New York to visit her family.

Jonelle was an extremely talented photographer. She took pictures of weddings, families, engagements, expecting mothers, seniors and so much more. Quoted from Jonelle's photography page, "It wasn’t until I moved to Maui in 2006 and met another photographer, that I realized photography encompassed everything that I was passionate about. It combined my love of people with my love of the technical, the creativity, and the instant results. I just knew it was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life."

Our family is looking for financial support to cover the funeral costs, as well as the expenses associated with getting some of her immediate family to New York to be with their loved ones and hold a memorial service. Any additional money raised will go into a trust fund for Ruby.
