Hi, I'm Jessica DeLao, and we're needing to raise money for Jonathon Anderson and his medical bills. In 2022, Jonathon was diagnosed with a high-grade glioma, stage 3, because of how aggressive it is. He has since had multiple brain surgeries. He's currently in a rehabilitation center due to a stroke he had in January of this year. Before Jonathon's diagnosis, he was very active and healthy. Jonathon enjoyed working out, going out with his friends, and playing his guitar. Since his stroke, he hasn't been able to enjoy most of these things because his entire left side is numb. Moody Rehabilitation Center in Lubbock has been helping Jonathon relearn the things he's lost because of his stroke. This rehabilitation center is $42,000.00 a month, which is understandable because of all the good work they do. Jonathon has obviously made some friends, which if you know Jonathon, you know he's friends with everybody. Jonathon is working extremely hard to regain his mobility and function on his left side. His parents are currently going to Lubbock every single weekend to spend time and help him. Julie and Shane are trying their hardest to make things work and still be present in all family activities. Money won't take away the stress of a sick child, but it will help with the stress of insurance and care for their son.
