Jonathon DeLoach's Traumatic Brain Injury
Donation protected
Hi. My name is Karen DeLoach, and I am fundraising for my son Jonathon. On Friday, July 28, 2023, Jonathon had an accident that left him unconscious and on life support. He is diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury. Initially, he had two brain bleeds. He was released from hospital on August 4th, but had another fall and third brain bleed. He was back in the hospital by August 10th.
He is now home with his dad and me. He is suffering from debilitating migraines, pain in the eyes and extremely poor vision, brain fog, and overall weakness after trying to accomplish a task. Doctor said his brain is as fragile as an egg, and one more fall would be extremely bad, perhaps resulting in a vegetative state or even death.
He can walk with a walker. The doctors said he is in for the long haul.
Bottom line: Jonathon has lost his job, because he is unable to work. He has to pay cash for every doctor's visit. Doctors don't know how long his recovery will take. Meantime, he needs help with bills.
The donations will go toward doctor visits, medications, medical procedures, and necessary bills.
He recently made a down-payment on a small travel trailer that he was moving into and doesn't want to lose. It's in our yard so we will be able to help him when he is well enough to be on his own.
Those who know Jonathon know him as a generous, kind person who has always helped other people. My husband and I are on Social Security, and we both have chronic illnesses. But we will do everything we can for him.
I humbly ask that you will make a donation to help him during this traumatic time. No matter how small, every donation will be greatly appreciated. If you are unable to give, please share this in your social media. And, above all, we seek your prayers for him. Thank you. God bless!
