Jonathan's Short Film

Hi my name is Jonathan Oliveira and I'm a student filmmaker trying to raise money for my upcoming short film!

This money would enable myself and my team to make this project a reality. Examples of expenses being: equipment, props, locations (homes/permits), costumes, transportation, practical effects, and food. Your donations would allow us to submit the final film to film festivals/competitions.  

The film is a science-fiction/drama set in the near future. The story follows an astronaut, John Cooper, who has spent the last two years of his life aboard a space station. When ordered by his superiors to return home,  John is conflicted because he believes that by staying behind he can outrun his traumatic past. Will he continue to live in the void of space or come home and confront his past? 

My team and I hope to reach this goal by January 1st, so that we have enough time to order everything we need prior to our February start time.
