As many of you know, my brother Jonathan Quintanar and cousin Cristian Olguin were in tragic car accident, resulting in the passing of my cousin, and leaving my brother fighting for his life. It's been about 2 weeks since the accident occurred, but it still feels like it was yesterday.
We can not begin to express the gratitude from the bottom of our hearts for everyones generosity and support over the last few weeks. Jonathan sustained multiple fractures, wounds and bruises, leaving him in critical condition, which resulted in him getting multiple surgeries in his first week of being in the hospital. The surgeries included the dissection of a blood clot on his aorta (the largest artery carrying blood from the heart to the rest of the body), the reconstruction of his intestines, lower spinal cord surgery, and surgery for his broken arm (left arm) and is currently awaiting surgery for his right shoulder.
Our parents are both staying with him at the hospital, being physically present is crucial at this time, and very much needed for my brother's endured trauma physically, mentally and emotionally.
With the extended time out of work, and the necessary measures to provide for Jonathan and his 3 younger siblings, is a desperate need.
His time in the hospital is indefinite as of right now. We all know the road to recovery will be long and arduous, but with your support, we can help ease his burden and provide the financial assistance he so desperately needs.
How You Can Help: Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly towards covering Jonathan's extensive medical expenses, including his prolonged hospital stay, surgeries, treatments, and the ongoing care he'll require during his recovery period.
Additionally, your contributions will help alleviate the financial strain on Jonathan and his family as he navigates this challenging chapter in his life.
Thank you for the continued fervent prayers and intentions for both my family and my cousin Cristian's family. Please continue to pray for our families as we move through this delicate time.
Jonathan sustained injuries and is fighting for his life each day, he is in a very critical time in his recovery, but we have begun to see some improvements.
We are optimistic that with time, love, and prayers, Jonathan will recover.
With Heartfelt Gratitude
