On Thursday, October 15, Jonathan collapsed at work. At the hospital, we learned he'd suffered a brain bleed after his blood pressure spiked dangerously high. On Friday morning he went into surgery to remove as much of the clot as possible and give him the best chance at recovery.
The bleed affected the left side of his brain, which controls speech and the right side of the body. His doctors are hopeful, but they've been honest with us: recovery will take time. We're looking at months, possibly a year or more, of rehab and hard work.
If you know Jonathan, you know he works hard and loves his people with his whole heart. He's always the first to show up for everyone else. He's loved by more people than he could ever imagine, and the waiting room full of friends has proven that over and over.
Now it's our turn to show up for him.
Funds raised will help cover his medical bills, rehabilitation, and living expenses while he focuses on healing, so he can put all his energy into getting back to the Jonathan we know and love.
Every gift, big or small, means the world. If you can't give, please share this page and keep him in your prayers.
With love and gratitude.
