Jonathan's Funeral & Medical costs

On the evening of January 13th, Jonathan was driving his scooter on the MacArthur on the way to his midnight shift at That Yacht Club. While driving his scooter a car struck him causing the scooter to split in half and Jonathan was ejected from his scooter and landed on the MacArthur lifeless. The impact of the accident and hitting the asphalt caused his helmet to pop off. As Jonathan lay lifeless on the floor the car that hit him left the scene and as of today the City of Miami Beach Police and FHP have not been able to identify the person or the car. Jonathan was taken by ambulance to Jackson Memorial Hospital and doctors placed him in an induced coma and on ventilators due to the number of injuries. After the family stood by his side for 3 days they were tasked with disconnecting the machines and saying their goodbyes.

Jonathan was 28 years old and has a 6-year-old daughter and a wife who had just come from Columbia.

We (Christina Romero, General Manager of The Yacht Club) have put together this GOFund me with hopes of getting close to the $10,000 to assist the family with medical bills, funeral costs and the possibility of sending Jonathan back to Columbia.

The GoFund me funds will be given to Maria (Wife of Jonathan and Mother to Jonathan's Daughter) to assist with the costs of the funeral.
