On behalf of The Nuss Family, we are asking for everyone's support and love. On September 24th, we lost Jon Nuss at the young age of 22. For the last 2 years Jon struggled with addiction; he had recently made tremendous progress towards sobriety but lost his battle on sunday morning.  Jon swam many years on the Pinole Seals Swim Team, graduated from Pinole Valley high school with the class of 2013, and loved his job at the richmond plunge.  The regular swimmers at the plunge loved Jon, he would often let the cool ones swim for free.  Jon was an amazing friend. He loved his pug ling ling, camping on the lake and making his friends laugh.  Left behind are his loving parents Terri and David, twin brother Timothy, younger brother Samuel, girlfriend of 6 years Stephanie and all his many friends and family.  His loss leaves all of us completely devastated. The Nuss family was completely unprepared for this tragedy, and any donations to help them during this difficult time would be in the service towards putting Jon at rest.
