On Friday March 29th at around 8:30 pm while crossing the street on first and Barstow Jonathan was hit at around 40 mph by a vehicle that kept going . He was hit so hard he flipped 3 times before landing. His left tibia was fractured in half. His right leg tibia came out of his leg and was shattered / fractured in 5 places , his right lung deflated causing him to have a chest tube placed . He had a huge laceration on his forehead and his nose, his nose was broken , 3 -6 ribs fractured . Orbital fracture. Jaw fractures trauma to his frontal lobe . He has had to have 2 blood transfusions due to loss of blood . He will be in the hospital 4-6 weeks and has to learn to walk all over since both legs are non weight bearing for 8-12 weeks. Any help would be appreciated. The person that hit him has still not been located
