Jonathan Tyson
Please help to provide care and cost reduction on an overly burdened family in their time of need as many know medical expenses are very expensive and with Jonathan not having an income as of now due to the accident and April's time off to be there for her husband, funding medical expenses and well as everyday bills are going to be tough.
Jonathan was involved in a severe motorcycle accident on 1-24-17 that has left him and his family in a state of shock and disbelief. Although he is surrounded by loved ones we are ready for him to get better.
Jonathan was leaving from work when an unthinkable accident happened where he suddenly swerved right causing him to go over a curb and into a brick wall at an unknown speed. Although witness states it was a single vehicle accident others believe that more was at play as Jonathan is an excellent rider and would not have made this mistake.
This has resulted in Jonathan being in the hospital ICU since the accident and more than likely for a 1-2 weeks additional with a long list of injuries including severe concussion ,broken scapula, broken clavicle (which surgery is set for 3-1-17) also including 2 broken ribs a punctured lung which they have a negative pressure suction tube to assist in keeping his lung inflated, a damaged adrenal gland, 2 cracked vertebra in his lower back not to mention what they will find after he comes to and can tell them all the places he is hurting. He is also suffering from short term memory loss which could be the result of concussion.
He and his wife April, both grew up here in Bakersfield, high school sweethearts and the parents of one adorable little man named Nathan. Jonathan and April are generous, kind, loving people.
April Tyson is handling all of their affairs and is under a tremendous amount of stress and mending a broken heart trying to balance still being a mother and an education professional and could use all the support that you can provide.
Nathan Tyson (4yrs) is doing ok but missing his mommy and daddy terribly he is a very strong and intelligent person and wants his daddy to get better so that they can continue being best friends and playing games and hanging out daily.
We ask that any help that you can provide whether it be 1 dollar or just sending you prayers to help raise him up and to help him heal and provide comfort to all of his loving family during this time of need.
For many that know him he is an amazing Man, father, husband, and for a lot of us a BROTHER, as he is mine. We all love him and need him back. He seems to always have a smile, an open ear or and a way of taking your idea and rewording it so that it was his idea (he should have been an engineer) but no matter what he is always there for us. Now is the time we can be there for him and his family. Thank You.
