Jonathon Raymond Goodacre

It is with a heavy heart and great sadness to share the unexpected passing of Jonathan Raymond Goodacre this past weekend. Jonathan was not only a dear friend to many but a son, husband, future father, bonus Uncle and let’s be honest… like a brother to some.

I know there are many questions but as of now all we know is what was told to us by the paramedics and it appears to have been from natural causes.

With all the emotional pain and stress that death brings, it also comes with financial burdens. We would like to raise money for Jon’s family and funeral/celebration of life expenses. This includes helping Dj have time to get back on her feet through this hard time and to keep the house they have made a home.

Since the cost have been already covered for IVF, and as many of you know, Jon and Dj were in the middle of treatment and have 25 successful fertilized eggs (and before Jon’s passing they decided together they will donate to a couple in need if any leftovers). Come Wednesday September 27th Dj will still proceed with the implantation and be “putting the bun in the oven”. This is important to her and the family to keep Jon’s legacy alive so there is a lot at once emotionally.

The last thing the family wanted was to be asking for financial assistance but at this point it is a need for her to give him a proper celebration of life and keep the family home. We have a preliminary date for the Celebration of Life set for October 14, 2023. Please keep an eye out for details. We appreciate any donations made (any donations will go straight to Dj)
