Jonathan Pew Memorial Fund

Jonathan Pew was our brother. Many of you knew him and the light, joy and genuine kindness he brought into the world. He brought happiness, love and his warm inviting smile to every interaction. If you ever met him you know this. He passed away in the early morning hours of Sunday August 25th, 2019 unexpectedly.

He left behind family, friends, colleagues and most importantly the love of his life, Samantha. Though married less than a year their bond was strong and enduring. Like most young newly weds they were focused on building a life together, growing in love and planning for the future they dreamed of sharing. Thinking about end of life expenses was not on his mind during his first blissful year of marriage.

Samantha is now left with the unhappy task of burying her husband without the assistance of life insurance. We ask that you, as part of Jonathan & Samantha's community, contribute to help with Jonathan's end of life expenses if you can. The average end of life expenses range from $7000-$9000. We are hoping to raise at least $7000 with a stretch goal of $9000 to ensure Samantha will not have to worry about such trivial things as money as she grieves the loss of her beloved husband.

There are no words to express the loss we all feel. We hope that you all can hold in your memories the times you shared with Jonathan and think back with gratitude for the gift it was to have the time we were granted with him.
