We are the friends and family of JP Perry, Tracy Dott and Reagan Perry.
Jonathan Patrick “JP” Perry passed away on July 31, 2020 after a brief but hard fought battle with an undetermined, aggressive cancer. True to form, he consistently surprised every nurse and doctor by breaking the typical patterns and molds in the time since his recent diagnosis. We are going to miss his doggedness and tough exterior, that could best be softened by the nonstop, upbeat energy of six-year old Reagan. We will never forget his sense of humor, his strength and unconditional love.
JP was a hard working man who loved his family and enjoyed making people laugh. He was a Navy veteran, the kind of athlete that could beat you in a sport even if he had never tried it before and a “jack of all trades” handyman. He built Reagan a backyard fort and playground, started teaching her golf and tirelessly researched magic tricks and drawing lessons on YouTube to surprise her with.
Tracy is a Helitack Captain with the US Forest Service. Her job is rewarding yet demanding, particularly during fire season when assignments require her to spend many weeks away from Reagan. This season will be different for Tracy as she will need to spend more time at home with Reagan. Your donations will go directly to Tracy to help she and Reagan adapt during this difficult time.
Reagan remains her energetic, happy, exuberant self. She has exhibited understanding and empathy well beyond her years. She is going to go on to do great things with the support of her family and memories of her Dada.
Thank you for your love and support.
