Ayúdame a luchar por mi vida y volver a jugar fútbol ⚽

Hola, mi nombre es Jonathan Rivera, tengo 11 años y soy un joven futbolista hondureño con grandes sueños. Desde muy pequeño descubrí mi pasión por el fútbol, y siempre he soñado con convertirme en un gran jugador profesional. Pero el pasado 15 de enero, mi vida cambió inesperadamente…

Ese día sufrí una hemorragia cerebral provocada por una malformación arteriovenosa (MAV), una condición congénita que afecta los vasos sanguíneos en el cerebro. Fue una situación muy grave. Tuve que ser intervenido quirúrgicamente de emergencia para retirar parte del hematoma que amenazaba mi vida.

Gracias a Dios y a los médicos, logré superar esa primera batalla. Sin embargo, aún me queda un camino muy difícil por recorrer. Después de realizarme varios estudios, mi neurocirujano ha determinado que una nueva cirugía abierta es demasiado riesgosa, ya que podría provocar otra hemorragia. Por eso, me han recomendado un tratamiento alternativo llamado radiocirugía.

El problema es que en Honduras no existe este tratamiento, por lo que debo trasladarme a El Salvador, donde sí se realiza. Lamentablemente, el costo de la radiocirugía es muy elevado, y mis padres no cuentan con los recursos económicos necesarios para cubrirlo.

Es por eso que hoy recurro a ti, con el corazón en la mano, para pedirte tu ayuda. Tu colaboración puede marcar la diferencia.

Help Me Fight for My Life and Get Back to Playing Soccer ⚽

Hi, my name is Jonathan Rivera, I’m 11 years old, and I’m a young soccer player from Honduras with big dreams. Ever since I was very little, I have discovered my passion for soccer, and I’ve always dreamed of becoming a great professional player. But on January 15th, my life changed unexpectedly...

That day, I suffered a brain hemorrhage caused by an arteriovenous malformation (AVM) — a congenital condition that affects the blood vessels in the brain. It was a very serious situation. I had to undergo emergency surgery to remove part of the hematoma that was threatening my life.

Thanks to God and the doctors, I survived that first battle. However, I still have a difficult road ahead. After more medical tests, my neurosurgeon determined that another open surgery would be too risky, as it could lead to another hemorrhage. Because of this, I was recommended a safer alternative treatment called radiosurgery.

The problem is that this treatment is not available in Honduras, so I need to travel to El Salvador, where it is offered. Unfortunately, the cost of radiosurgery is very high, and my parents don’t have the financial resources to cover it.

That’s why today, I’m reaching out to you with all my heart to ask for your help. Your support can make the difference.
