Help us during this difficult time with my brother in law Jonathan Hernandez Cano

We are going through a tough time emotionally, financially, and mentally with my brother in law Jonathan as he is fighting for dear life with cancer. He is currently fighting to live and quite frankly he is not in his best of capabilities as we type out this gofundme. As of this morning 5/30/25, Jonathan fight with cancer has shook our family, he is currently on a ventilator and also now is having his kidneys fail. Jonathan is more to us than the funds itself. He is loved by many friends and family, but he is more important at his favorite role of being an uncle to my sons, his only nephews Luka and Nikola 3,1. As I type this the reality has set in that this is really happening, he is only 31, the cancer has taken a turn, as christians we had hope and promise, but his body can't withstand everything that's happening to him. He told my mother in law last night, mom, it is time to let me fly, as our home became home to my in-laws we unselfishly had to step up and remain positive, but he is weak and doesn't have the urgency to fight anymore. As a mother, this breaks my heart for my own self but more importantly my husband and MORE IMPORTANTLY my mother in law. The funds will go directly to funeral costs and to cover transporting his body back home to Dallas. Jonathan moved to Houston to be closer to us to start a new life and unfortunately life wasn't promised to him. I pray nobody goes through what my family has and is currently going through but just know I have faith, but in reality, God wants him more and who are we to be angry. You can donate something as little as a $1.00 it adds up, but we just want to be comfortable with knowing in his last days, he is sent off in the most nicest, respectful and deserving way. We kindly ask for prayers at this time for strength and postivity. We thank you for what you do give that God puts on your heart to give but we appreciate the support!

Thank you on the behalf of our whole Hernandez family! God bless you!
