Jonathan Fritz Veteran Marine Cancer fund.

My name is Kendra Fritz, wife of my wonderful husband Jonathan Fritz a Marine Vet who is father to our two young children; Rayne and Talus.

3 weeks or so ago, our world was turned on its head. My husband Jonathan was diagnosed with stage 4 Metastatic renal cell carcinoma. After a long fight with his doctors to find out what was wrong with him, many wrong diagnosis and generally being put off, I begged him to seek another opinion. 3 days after seeking said opinion he was given this diagnosis.

Cancer is not something I am a stranger to. It took my own Father and a year later my Mother followed him. Jonathan and our children are all I have left, and I do not want to lose this man. My daughter and son need their Dad to be around as long as possible.

Anyone who knows Jonathan would tell you that he is a strong, smart and kind man, who would give you the shirt off his back, and has literally done so! He’s funny, charming and one of a kind. His dream is to graduate from college with a degree, and is about one semester away from achieving that goal. Unfortunately, he has had to push back his final semester to seek treatment. Even more unfortunately, he also had to stop working which has set me to seek extra hours at work, and possibly find a second job.

Jonathan would never seek help himself, so I am doing it for us. We can’t do this alone. My goal is to be able to pay off some outstanding bills, and take some of the financial burden off while I spend much needed and precious time with my husband and our children. Our goal is to get Jonathan through his final semester and get him graduated. We also would like to be able to travel back home to see Jonathan’s Mom while he can if possible.
