Jonathan Davoll the Medical Marvel
In mid-December Jonathan began having debilitating pain in both of his legs and was admitted to Nationwide Children’s Hospital. There, doctors determined he had rhabdo, a rare condition which breaks down the muscle tissue and causes intense pain. Within a couple days he also ended up with compartment syndrome. This required emergency surgery on both legs to relieve swelling and required the removal of the anterior muscles on both legs. Over the next 4-6 months, he will learn to walk and do physical therapy and rehab.
All prayers are appreciated more than you know.
Organizer’s note:
Jonathan is my cousin, and an absolutely amazing kid. He is one of the most kind-hearted and caring people I know. He has been dealt an incredibly bad hand, and is dealing with it better than most people would. By supporting this fundraiser you are helping to give his family the financial buffer needed to allow them to focus on his recovery.
