Jonathan Bryant, a long-time friend and ministry partner, has received news Wednesday, August 23, that he has T-Cell Leukemia/Lymphoma. At first, they were just going to treat him in Texarkana, but it was determined this afternoon, Friday, Aug. 25, that it is MUCH worse than first thought and they have life-flighted him to M.D. Anderson in Houston where they will start immediate chemotherapy!
Jonathan is only 33 years old and the husband of Shannon and father of Tristan, 11, Jaxon, 7, and Felicity, 5. He is the son of Pastor (Unity BC, Texarkana) John and Debbie Bryant and Shannon is the daughter of Pastor (San Augustine MBC, San Augustine, TX) Steve and Kim Phillips. While they need your prayers the most and do have health insurance, he is self-employed and as you can imagine will not be able to work for quite some time.
