Jonathan was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma in April 2024 and has been in and out of the hospital for treatments since then. He had to stop working, leading his mother, Wendy, to take time off to care for him, while his father, Raymond, continued working to support the family. This loss of income has placed a significant financial strain on them.

On Sunday, October 6, 2024, Jonathan underwent a new treatment that ultimately proved ineffective. After several rounds of chemotherapy, he passed away on October 11, 2024, at 11 PM, surrounded by family and friends.

Compounding their struggles, Raymond was recently diagnosed with lymphoma as well and is currently awaiting details on the type and timing of his treatment. This will further impact their family, requiring both him and Wendy to take time off work.
