One year ago the world lost Jeff Covode. Jeff was simply the best. Great friend, great husband, great dad, great brother, great team mate, great son, great person. The kind of person that deserves to be remembered.

In that spirit there has been a lot of discussion among his family and friends about how to best remember him. We now have a plan. Greenhills is planning to build a pavilion in the new park that has replaced the old golf course. Our goal is to raise funding to allow us to have naming rights and input on that pavilion, and name it after Jeff. A lasting tribute to a great person.

We feel it is perfect: when you think of Jeff, you cannot help but think of Greenhills. Jeff grew up there. Went to high school there. Starred on teams there. Spent summers working at the pool and golf course. Served on city council. Frequented restaurants and provided great karaoke at the Back Door. Jeff Covode was and is Greenhills. Our goal is to memorialize that and create a place where others can enjoy Greenhills as much as he did.
