As many of you may know, Jenny and I have been involved in supporting Jonathan Wright over the years. He 15 yrs old and lives in Fayetteville, TN, with his grandmother and others in severe poverty. His mom passed in 2001 and he does not know his father. He is a bright, kind kid who simply got dealt a very tough hand in life.
He called this morning to tell me their rented home burned down last night. So, he, his grandmother, aunt, uncle and 3 other kids have nothing and nowhere to go. Their situation was already rough, today it got much worse.
They have no clothes, food, etc.. so I am sending this out to see if anyone can donate any of the following:
· Clothes or shoes for adult male or female and male youth (7-14)
· Any healthcare products: toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, etc..
· Nonperishable food items: canned, pasta, etc..
· And, as usual, any financial contributions you would like to consider
You can either leave the items at your home (I will pick up around 3pm tomorrow to take it to them tomorrow night) or drop them by our home at 211 Burnt Leaf Lane, Brentwood, TN, 37027.
Thank you very much for your support.
