Spende geschützt
Im not sure how to do this and it's hard to put into words what has happened without getting emotional. The last 18 hours have been like a rollercoaster ride. We found out yesterday afternoon that Our brother Jonas was involved in a major car accident while on a work trip in Toulouse France and was undergoing emergency surgery. After hours of communicating back and forth with the company he works for, our older brother Leonard was finally in contact with the hospital to only hear he was no longer with us and that no one in the vehicle he was in survived. As we process this news and prepare to fly to France to get our brother, it's hard to believe that all of our lives are forever changed.
Jonas was the brains of the bunch, the only one of us to graduate college and the caretaker of our mother. He leaves behind his Wife Bernadeth, and two young daughters Margo and Ellie. When I write this it hurts my heart to know their future is a future without him. A future for his children without their father and Bernadeth without her husband. A future for our mother and father without their son and a future without our brother.
For the last few years, Jonas has been doing a heck of a job juggling the responsibilities of being a good son, a good brother, a good father and a good husband. Traveling back and forth across the globe to be with his family in the Philippines and to his job in California. As we travel to France tomorrow we hope to bring him to rest in the Philippines to be near his family.
We don't know the cost, but we do know we need help providing for his wife and kids.
