Support for Jonah’s medical emergency

Our dear friend Jonah has suffered a sudden, uncommon spinal chord injury causing serious damage. A spontaneous disc bulge compressed his spinal chord.

He was taken to Vancouver General Hospital where he underwent multiple surgeries and is in the ICU there. He is currently paralyzed from the chest down.

Jess has said he is getting stronger every day and is hopeful he can be moved to the spinal injury unit shortly.

From there, he is looking at several months recovery and rehab at the G.F. Strong Rehabilitation Centre before he can return home to Vancouver Island.

This is a serious, life-altering injury - Jonah, Jess and Miles have a long road ahead of them and they are going to need help from us.

We are looking to gather funds to keep his home stable and to allow his family to be with him during his recovery. Any amount will matter and is deeply appreciated.
