Jonah's Summer in Israel- Tzofim Chetz V'Keshet

Tzofim Chetz V'keshet is a month long summer Israel Scouts program that will launch me into the culture, heritage, language, and society as we hike, bike, and tour the country to strengthen my connection to Israel and to make friends and memories for a lifetime.    

The camp's itinerary is traveling all around Israel: Eilat, Masada, Dead Sea, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Golan Heights, and Tzfat. We will connect with the IDF and safely be apart of a mock basic training. This camp will give me the chance to face new challenges, become more mature and self confident, and as my very first sleep away camp experience, a life changing month for me without a doubt. There will be volunteer opportunities during camp, and there will be volunteer opportunities : spiritual path, agricultural path, and a nature path, each with a unique draw for me. I plan on blogging about and documenting this adventure and will share this with anyone interested in seeing what their support looks like through my eyes, especially since the words '"thank you" couldn't nearly express my gratitude...
