Jonah and Nana Mlotshwa  Clinic is an entity of Hope For Mtshabezi, a USA domiciled 501 c 3 non profit organization (EIN 26-1170874).

The Clinic is located in a remote area in Matebeleland South Province in an area called Mayezane, Zimbabwe. The nearest rural clinic is  12 km away/ about 7.5 miles. This once medically underserved community is very grateful for the health services they now recieve. They no longer travel long distances for care and all medications they need are readily available. 

The medical/ nursing staff however is in great need of descent accomodations. They are dedicated to serve but currently share a small old house with no running water or  electricity. The goal is to raise funds to build staff quarters.

Less than 24 hours after the launch of this initiative the Board of Directors (The ANTS) of Hope For Mtshabezi (HFM) made me aware of a prior planned initiative to honor ukhulu u J.T. Ndlovu. J.T. Ndlovu met his untimely death early January 2021 after he had travelled from Atlanta, GA to Zimbabwe for his sister’s funeral. He was a son of Nqameni (the community where HFM built the Jonah and Nana Mlotshwa  Clinic) and a champion of the organization’s growth from its inception. HFM therefore, wants to honor his memory by building the nursing / staff quarters at Jonah and Nana Mlotshwa  Clinic (HFM).
