The Jona Vaughan Home 2023 Fundraiser

Donation protected
The Jona Vaughan Home in Amanzimtoti (just outside Durban, South Africa) was established in 1984 to create a haven for people with profound learning and physical disabilities.

They are desperate for funds to support their 84 residents, many of whom have been abandoned or orphaned. Without the generous donations of the wider public it would be impossible to maintain basic standards of life and care. They don’t just need funds for basic commodities such as clothing, bed linen, food, washing powder, etc... they need funds to ensure they are cared for by dedicated staff who at times are not even paid their wages due to insufficient funding.
The residents need various forms of disability equipment to enable them to have some form of quality of life and all funds raised will be given directly to the Parents Association who will distribute as they deem necessary.

Two ex-Amanzimtoti residents and best friends (Claire O'Donovan and Caron Hean) are doing the 2023 Put Foot Rally to raise awareness and funds for the Jona Vaughan Home and we would really appreciate any donation (every cent helps!).
Let's offer some hope to these forgotten people.
Thanks for your support!
