My dad has been in the hospital now for 7 days and counting. He is struggling with severe cellulitis in his feet and ankles. He is being treated heavily with antibiotics but it is still not working. They would never ask for this help for themselves, but for everyday that he is in the hospital it is $200 and my mom is also not working during this time. I know that this is weighing heavily on them which makes it difficult to focus on the actual healing process and navigating the medical challenges. They are praying and seeking God's guidance every step of the way.
Please take a moment to consider supporting my parents in this way. I know that it would mean so much to them and I would be so grateful for your support. Above all else please continue to pray for his healing and restoration! Thank you!

This roller coaster ride is getting exhausting. No discharge today. They discontinued the IV antibiotics last night and placed him on oral - his foot got worse. They restarted antibiotics and called in an infectious disease doctor. She restarted the Vanco and added 2 new antibiotics. She called for a doctor to aspirate his ankle to see if he could get any crystals. They numbed his ankle and put a large bore needle in and aspirated. Mainly just got blood. He told jokes through the procedure - saying "I can take it". Remember that this is the guy who ripped half of his palm off of one hand and drove himself to the hospital, who had a kidney stone and drove himself to the hospital. When everyone left he said "wow there is still a tear in my eyes - that hurt bad. If 10 is as high as it can go - it was an 11." But told jokes on the outside and prayed on the inside. Man, I want him home. Keep praying to our Lord and Savior. Healing is needed so he can get back to serving God at a higher level.

Praise God one MRI was done last night and showed pure cellulitis. No flesh eating bacteria. No pockets of pus, so no surgery. Other MRI being down today. More antibiotics. Still in hospital. Keep praying - prayers are working. God is faithful as He promises.
