Jon Schultz Medical Fund

On April 7th, Jon visited the ER with severe abdominal pain.  Doctors found a mass in one of his adrenal glands.  He went to Mayo to undergo testing and doctors are 98% sure the tumor is adrenal cortical cancer, a hormonal type of cancer that has put Jon's body in a state of feeling stressed for the past year.  The tumor is very large and will need to be removed surgically.

Jon's surgery is scheduled for Friday, April 19.  The surgery will be invasive and recovery will be long.  He will need both an extended hospital stay, as well as time at home to heal.  Meanwhile, both Jon and Hannah will be missing significant time at work.

The Schultz family needs your support  in three ways:
1. PRAY:  Nothing is too great for our God!  Pray for healing, wisdom for Jon's doctors, and peace for everyone involved.

2. HELP: If you live close to Jon and Hannah and want to give them a meal, help with yard work, or find another tangible way to help, please contact Kate Sawatsky or Julie Stella Jon's sisters) at or  They will be coordinating for the Schultz family so they are not overwhelmed with calls during this busy time. You can also sign up to bring a meal at

3. GIVE:  Hospitals are amazing and expensive.  Let's help them pay those bills.  If you want to give them money directly, please do so.  Gofundme does charge a small service fee.
