I’m Jon, a 36 year old from Oregon. I have cerebral palsy and am a lifelong wheelchair user. I just found out that I have to pay $800 as part of the property taxes on my home. I am on Social Security and have a fixed income of $1300 a month. This payment is due on February 17th. Unfortunately, the people I live with aren’t willing to split the $1500 bill in a fair way that would lessen the financial burden and have put me in a position where I need some help.
