Jon Hess Medical Bills

Hello and thanks for clicking onto this fundraiser for my friend Jon Hess! I’m Colleen. Jon and I have been friends since we were two years old! We became neighbors when my family moved to Colorado from New York and we remained friends ever since.

On December 24, 2021, Jon was given the worst Christmas present anyone could imagine. A diagnosis of stage four neck and throat cancer. This came as a shock as he has always been such a healthy guy. Doesn’t drink. Doesn’t smoke. Works out and eats healthy. The most frustrating part of this situation is the MISDIAGNOSIS multiple doctors gave him starting in June of 2020!

Jon has been receiving radiation treatments for 4.5 weeks five times a week along with chemotherapy every Wednesday. He still has 3.5 weeks of treatment left before undergoing a PET Scan.

Jon has always been the working force behind his family. Together with his wife, Mindi, they are raising two beautiful children. Bella 12 and Gabe 8. With all his aggressive treatments, he is unable to work. Funds raised will go towards medical and every day life bills.
