Jon D. Heister – Husband - Father – Career Professional – Health Transformationalist                 I’d like to introduce you to Jon Heister.  His friends would describe him as a larger than life personality who always has fun and who will always be there for you.  A man with a tough exterior that hides a soft giving heart.  His co-workers describe Jon as a trustworthy guy with a wealth of technical knowledge.  His wife, of 25 years, Michelle, and his two sons, Davis and Harris, would say he’s tenacious, loyal, faithful, loving, a true family man.  It’s these personality traits that make Jon unforgettable.              The last few decades, Jon successfully ran his own business in the technical theater area of the entertainment business, but a few years ago he discovered his true calling, helping others.  Jon began empowering physically impaired individuals by challenging them to strengthen their minds and bodies.  These individuals challenged Jon as well.  He studied, learned and explored along with them. They discovered the weightlessness of scuba diving allowed them to freely move their bodies without their handicap impeding them but most importantly, they were positively changing the way they thought about their bodies and its capabilities.   Ironically, Jon too would be tested in the power of healing physically as well as mentally.             On July 3, 2018 Jon was told he had Stage 4 pancreatic cancer.  He was given an estimated four months to live with radiation and chemotherapy as his only treatment options and with no real increase in the diagnosed life span.              Inspired by the work he does with his scuba students, Jon immediately began researching alternative medical treatments.  Not suggested miracle cures, but realistic plans and help from a clinic and world-famous doctor with years of success in causing remission and removing cancerous cells from the body.  He also found that these treatments and protocols were not allowed in the United States, as they did not fit protocols of accepted treatment and disrupted drug and insurance policies.            But like his students, Jon has chosen an alternative healing process not covered by medical insurance.  When there is no income and no insurance assistance, this treatment protocol can be very costly.  It’s a slow process, but Jon is determined to stick to the protocol an estimated 2 years, or however long it takes to free him of his cancer.  Jon has no doubt that he is recovering and will regain his health.  His ultimate goal is to continue his work with his scuba diving students, and along with Michelle,  watch their sons as they grow and celebrate life’s many milestones.  He knows that once he is cancer free, he’ll have greater knowledge of how the mind and body can heal itself, as well as more strength, empathy, and conviction when working with others to overcome their own challenges.              Jon doesn’t want his illness to become a burden on his family.  Please donate to help Jon on his journey to recovery.  Share his story with friends, family and coworkers.              On behalf of Jon and his family, thank you for your generosity.
