We are heartbroken by the sudden and unexpected passing of Jon — a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and beloved life member of the Fleurieu Folk Festival. Jon was the main support and carer for his wife Josie, and the steady rock of their family.

Music flowed through Jon’s veins. He was deeply loved in the music community, always giving his time, energy, and passion to others. His loss has not only left profound grief, but immediate and ongoing challenges for his family, including significant financial pressure and uncertainty.

We are asking for support to help Josie and the family through this difficult time as they adjust to life without Jon’s care and resourcefulness. Any contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference.
