Jon DeRuiter and sons

Hello, my name is Eric DeRuiter, and i am looking to raise money for my brother Jonathan DeRuiter and his young family.

On May 25th, 2022, we lost a beautiful member of our family, Kayley DeRuiter. Jon lost a wife of 12 years, and their two boys, Weston (8 years old) and Alec (2 years old) lost a mother.

Kayley started experiencing medical issues around a year after her youngest son was born. These issues ultimately left her without mobility in her legs, hands and feet, to the point of having to use a wheelchair. Because of the medical issues, she wasn't able to work anymore. Through physical therapy, she was starting to get more independent and able to get around without as much assistance. When it seemed things were getting better, things made a drastic turn for the worst. The original issues started coming back worse than before. She was placed in the hospital, and the doctors started looking for an answer and treatment but to no avail.

She was on disability and didn't have life insurance. This has placed a heavy financial burden on Jon and his family. I would like to ask you to donate if possible. i know every little bit will help with hospital bills, funeral costs, and household bills. Raising a young family is hard and expensive with both parents. He is now a single father with one income.
