For those who don’t know, Jon has been in a long standing fight against Leukemia. No one truly knew or understood how bad his situation was until his heart attack a few years ago. Since then he may have spent more time back and forth into emergency rooms then actually enjoying life and time with his family until… things started to look like they were on the mend. Once his family believed he was doing better health concerns came crashing back down on Jon harder, faster, more abruptly and aggressively than ever before. The loss of the head of the Colombini household was unexpected. Even with the prior health scares it seemed like the doctors and a strong 54 year young Jon and his family were out of the woods and headed for clear skies until the loss of Jon Saturday evening October 21st 2023. A courageous, selfless, dedicated United States Veteran, a husband, a father, a grandfather, a brother, a son, a grandson, a stand up business owner, a dog lover, a leader and pillar in his community, a legend! These are just a few words to describe Jon, who he was, the hats he wore in everyday life, the titles he held, he was all of this and so much more to so many people. His personality was infectious, his love was unmatched, his heart was gigantic, he was too good to walk amongst man so he was called to be more, he was called to be greater, he earned his wings and right to be his family’s Guardian Angel. Jon’s physical will forever be missed, but he lives on spiritually in all of the lives he touched, friends he made and he will live forever in his family’s hearts. We will see glimpses of him in his grandson’s smile, pieces of him in his wife’s glare and all of him in the children he has left for us all to help, love and cherish like we did him. Gone, but never forgotten, rest in power Jon, until we meet again we all love you!
