Jon Benton was driving home from work Thursday the 25th when he witnessed a drunk driver ahead of him. The drunk driver wrecked shortly after and Jon being such a caring selfless person he quickly got out of his work truck to help the guy who was stuck in his car. As he was trying to get the door open Jon was hit by a transfer truck and slung over off the side of the road. He is now currently in the hospital after having his left leg amputated, metal rods in his right leg and a injured spleen. The doctors say it will take atleast a year to get him some what recovered. Any donations are so appreciated.
