Jon Belcher's road to recovery

Donation protected
Hi, Jon's sister Becca here creating this on behalf of his friends and family.
On June 23rd, Jon was rushed to UH Geauga Hospital. He was unresponsive due to an incident that never should have taken place. On June 24th, Jon took his first helicopter ride to UH-Downtown. He has been in the ICU since. Jon's organs were starting to fail. Since then, his heart, kidneys and liver have all repaired themselves. Now his brain can focus on healing itself. He was unresponsive for a week; he has begun to improve slowly. Jon now opens his eyes, squeezes your hand when asked, wiggles his toes and gives kisses. He smiles when we go see him and when nurses come in. Unfortunately, he doesn't have much use of his left side.
This will be an extremely, slow long road to recovery.
The nurses have been so fantastic; they braid his hair for him, which he loves!
We are trying to lighten the load of the medical bills that are and will continue to come.
He will be moved to a long-term facility soon.
Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers!
