Jon & Corrin Mullins Family FIRE Relief

On August 20th, 2020 my best friend and her family lost everything to the Lightning Complex Fire affecting the Santa Cruz Mountains and beyond. She, her husband Jon, and their 3 children left their home in Boulder Creek with the clothes on their back, and a few small suitcases of bare necessities for the children. After a financially difficult 2019, Jon and Corrin made the decision to relocate their family from Scotts Valley to Boulder Creek to regain financial stability and a future in their hometown. Now, almost a year to the day that they moved, they’ve lost the very home that was giving them such needed hope and promise. Jon and Corrin grew up in this valley. They met at SLVHS and have been high school sweethearts for 15 years. They are so rooted in this community that they have chosen to raise there beautiful family here, no matter the sacrifice and cost.

As a family of 5, on a single income, one can only imagine the devastation they feel. Anyone that knows Jon and Corrin will tell you that they are the people who NEVER ask for help. Time and time again they are the ones to come to the aid of their friends and family and never hesitate to give what little they may have. 

This is a selfless, genuine, hard working family. 

Having had an experience with this exact loss 2 years ago with a family member that lived through the Campfire, I can tell you that the greatest gift you can provide right now is money. They don’t know where they will be living today, tomorrow, a week from now. This donation gives them piece of mind to secure long term housing, feed and clothe their children, and put foodon the table. Anything your heart urges you to give is appreciated and there is NO DONATION TOO SMALL.
