It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of our beloved friend and brother-in-law, Jomar Tapan, who left us on June 26, 2025, due to what is believed to be cerebral malaria. Jomar was a devoted son, a caring brother, and a loving uncle to our nieces and nephews—a kind soul who touched the lives of many.

His remains are currently at a hospital morgue in Djibouti, Africa, as we work toward bringing him home to the Philippines for a proper farewell. We humbly ask for your prayers and support during this difficult time. Any contribution—no matter the amount—will go a long way in helping the family cover the costs of repatriation and funeral arrangements.

Jomar is survived by his loving parents, Maribel and Jose; his siblings, Jhun, Glen, Jojit, Miriam, and Marichu; and his nephews and nieces.
