Joma Leonardo

We lost our dear friend Joma Leonardo way too early. His passion for the game of golf and the Meridian Hills Country Club (MHCC) caddy program was unmatched and present throughout his life. This fund was initially started by the MHCC members to raise money for Joma’s funeral expenses. Instead, and in true Joma fashion, his family has asked that the fund be redirected and used to start a memorial scholarship in Joma’s name. The scholarship will assist with college expenses for graduates of the Meridian Hills caddy program. While the exact qualifications are being worked through with the family, the recipient will embody Joma’s selfless nature, carry his always positive attitude, and possess his work ethic. Ultimately, the family will choose the recipient annually with the help of MHCC members and Caddie committee. Thank you for your contribution as we do our small part to honor his lasting memory.
