Jollity Farm needs help to survive the winter

Hi, Linda here the owner of Jollity Farm -a small non profit making animal shelter in the beautiful countryside of the Corrèze in Western France. For the past 15 years we have been a haven for life's misfits and also -rans of the animal world... all the wonky ones, the timid ones, the handicapped ones, the elderly ones... the ones that no-one wants or loves any more. our motto is that they all deserve a chance and they come here to live out their last days in safety with all the love and care we can give to them. At times its a thankless task , its seven days a week 365 days of the year, but its my 'raison d'etre' and I wouldnt have it anyother way.

To date we have six horses, two donkeys, five sheep, five goats, two pigs, three dogs, five cats, six hens, a female turkey and an irascible goose called Gilbert who thinks he runs the farm... this has all been self funded with no outside help , but time has caught up with us and with spiralling costs - vet bills( of which there are many) feed and bedding, farriers, wormers, vaccinations, pasture management and maintenance of buildings and fences for the safety and wellbeing of all our four and two legged friends - we are now struggling to finance it all ourselves and reluctantly need to ask for help. Our hay bill alone this year is 900 euros ... If anyone could find it in their hearts to spare a coin or two to help us keep going we ( and our furry/ feathered friends) would be eternally grateful .I know times are hard for all of us , even if you can't help financially please could you spread the word ? thank you for reading from all of us at Jollity Farm
