My name is Lapis Lazuli, I go by they/them pronouns and I made this gofundme because I need help. I am at the starting process to get gender affirming surgery and other non surgical procedures but the costs are very high. By gender affirming surgery and cosmetic procedures I hint at at certain surgeries and cosmetic procedures that will affirm my gender, or otherwise said: they will help me feel more at home in my body, they will help me combat the daily dysphoria and discomfort I feel about my body/appearance.




I am non binary, that means that I don't identify as a man, but also not a women, I was assigned male at birth but I'm not a man and neither am I a woman.

Non binary people appear in all spectrums of gender expression, from masculine, to feminine, to androgynous, to everything around it and outside of it. A lot of trans people just fear for them to be seen as the gender assigned at birth. Being in a very binary world, getting away from the gender assigned and transition towards the oposite sometimes is a relieve. For me, I don't want to pass as a woman but also not as a man.




Right now it's very difficult for me to wear the clothes that I want to wear, I'm afraid of nudity/intimacy and I hate having my pictures being taken. It's a daily battle to look in the mirror, to get dressed and undressed, to shower, to lay down in bed. Even when I'm home alone trying to relax my dysphoria makes me super uncomfortable and almost unable to properly love and care for my body.

Because of my dysphoria I choose to avoid talking about my body, it's a very sensitive thing for me and that is why I'd rather not disclose publicly what surgery or cosmetic procedures I need in order to feel at home inside myself.
