If you had not already heard, our dear, sweet Joleen recently had a horrific accident. She was crossing the street from work and was hit by a car travelling at 30 miles per hour. She was hit while crossing from her work at Walmart to the Kingstowne Plaza, to get a fruit tart from La Madeleine to surprise her grandma and auntie for the royal wedding party they planned for the next morning.
She is a wonderful young lady. She works so hard to overcome any challenges that come her way, and certainly has had her run of adversities. She lost her mom at a few years ago, quite unexpectedly, and she came here to begin a new life with her grandma, auntie, sister & brother. Sadly, there is no legal remedy (due to Virginia's personal injury laws), health insurance, or medicaid to cover the surgeries & medical/dental attention she needs to heal and get back to work. Her friends, on behalf of her family, humbly ask for any contribution you may be able to give.
