JoJo was abandoned in Hartford. After wondering the streets for a long time (according to neighbors), on May 24th, I called animal control, but sadly due to them being closed for the weekend and the holiday, there was nowhere for him to go. Friends and I teamed up to take care of him for the long weekend, but unfortunately due to our living situations, none of us could take him permanently. At this time, he is in the care of Animal Control, and we are very thankful that on Sunday we will be transferring him to Old Dogs Go to Helen.

Old Dogs Go to Helen is a rescue/ sanctuary in New Hampshire who takes in senior or hospice dogs to give them the retirement home and love that they deserve. They are a registered 501 (c)3 with the state of NH.

JoJo is about 14 years old and has some veterinary concerns. Despite his condition, he is a very well behaved and the sweetest dog who has stollen all of our hearts.
